The main island is just over a thousand square kilometres which allows you to change locations both quickly and easily. The roads are in excellent condition and it is less than 50 kilometres by car from north to south or from east to west on the main island.
The sea is never more than ten minutes away
You can film freely on most places on Åland if you respect our basic rule not to disturb and not to destroy.
