January 2019 in pictures

This year has so far offered beauty as well as drama. Generally, we cannot guarantee our producers a landscape in snow but this year it is all over white and stunningly beautiful. And the settings are a dream for photographers looking for "l'heure bleue".

January 2019 started quietly but already after 24 hours, Åland was hit by the worst storm ever in modern time. During the last two weeks of the month, snow fell abundantly, resulting in a snow depth of about 20 centimeters.

You'll find pictures from January in our Gallery. More images of the winter and the storm ravages are published on Facebook.
